Text: Ephesians 3:20
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
God Is Still Working, Even While You Wait
We believe in a God who works miracles. Not sometimes. Not occasionally. Always. His ability knows no boundaries, and there is truly nothing too hard for Him.
But if we’re honest, while we believe in God’s power, waiting on His timing can be difficult.
The Power of Patience
Patience is a spiritual fruit, and a necessity for every believer. When we receive the Spirit of God, patience is part of the package. Yet many people walk away from God, not because they stop believing in His power, but because they can’t handle the waiting.
“He may not come when you want Him… but He’ll be there right on time.”
You’ve likely heard this lyric. But do we live like we believe it? The truth is:
- While you’re waiting, God is working.
- During every delay, God is working.
- In detours, confusion, and even silence, God is still working.
Some miracles are instant. Others require time. And trusting God through that process is where faith deepens. Just because you have not received your miracle yet, doesn’t mean He is not working.
A Biblical Reminder: Strength in the Waiting
Isaiah 40:31 promises that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. Waiting isn’t passive, it’s powerful. In your waiting season, God is building endurance, clarity, and strength you didn’t know you needed.
And remember: Life is made up of seasons.
Just like we expect heat in the summer and cold in the winter, we must also recognize that spiritual life has seasons too. You may be in a planting season now, but harvest always follows.
Planting Before the Miracle
Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us: “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”
One of those divine seasons is this: A time to plant and a time to harvest. You cannot reap what you haven’t sown. This is God’s spiritual law.
Galatians 6:9 encourages us, “Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
Your miracle may feel delayed, but it is never denied when you’re walking in obedience. Your job is to keep planting. Keep praying. Keep showing up in faith.
The Season of Miracles Is Here
Here’s what I believe with all my heart:
We’ve been planting spiritual seeds for a season, individually and as a church.
We’ve:
- Prayed in impossibility.
- Held onto faith in the middle of hopelessness.
- Stayed faithful in seasons of adversity.
- Waited. And waited. And waited.
But now? The season of miracles is upon us.
“Spiritual things work with three main principles: the right soil, the right seed, and the right season.”
And I believe, prophetically, this is the right season. God has been preparing the soil, guiding the seed, and now He is ready to release the miracle harvest.
Final Word: Don’t Give Up Before the Harvest
If you’re in a season of waiting, don’t grow weary. The God of Ephesians 3:20, the God who does exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ask or think, is still at work.
Your miracle is not a matter of if—but when.
And that “when”? Might just be now.
